Futurefactory is a purely womens electromobility factory

This is exactly what the Futurefactory named its new plant Bhavish Aggarwal, head of the Indian company Ola. Although, in fact, this plant should be called differently.

Let me remind you that the Indian company #ola, founded 11 years ago, is today one of the largest in India and in the world, which provides the client with a choice of transportation options from kicksharing to taxi. Naturally, everything with Indian characteristics, where there are also cycle rickshaws, passenger tricycles. The company also operates in Australia, New Zealand, and the UK. Ola’s services geography covers more than 250 cities, serving hundreds of millions of consumers, in collaboration with more than 1.5 million partner drivers.

Ola executives have long stated that their strategic goal is to create an affordable and sustainable transportation environment based on electric mobility.

One of the ways to solve this problem was the construction of our own factory, which will produce # electric scooters of our own design. And this is not some kind of start, this is a modern production, in the creation of which $ 325 million of our own funds were invested. #futurefactory is located in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Agree, sometimes, when you hear news from India related to crimes against the fair sex, to put it mildly, you do not understand how such a thing is generally possible in the 21st century. And the Ola project, I think, will be of great importance not only in terms of promoting electric transport in the country, but also of great social importance.

It’s really cool when an innovative-minded company executive implements his ideas while simultaneously addressing pressing social issues. Naturally, a modern plant will be largely robotized. Some of the concerns will be performed by about 3,000 robots.

According to Professor Amit Kapoor, India’s social structure is dominated by men. In particular, in farming villages, women are forced to do housework from an early age and do not have access to education, so they are unlikely to become part of the workforce. There are serious inequalities in wealth between urban and rural residents, and gross domestic product per capita in Bihar, one of the country’s poorest states, is only about one-tenth that of Greater Delhi.
